Southern Trouble is a group of five guys who came together purely by chance. Each brings their own unique touch to the group. While we are fairly new to the music scene as a group, each of the group members brings years of playing experience though other groups and venues. Guess that makes us ‘Seasoned Professionals’.
Our style of music ranges from Contemporary Country/Country Rock to Southern Rock with a few Rock Tunes and Blues thrown in. Some of the Artists we cover are Keith Urban, Jason Aldean, Brantley Gilbert, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Big & Rich, Merle Haggard, Jake Owen, Johnny Cash, King Tyrone & The Graveyard Ramblers, Delbert McClinton, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Aerosmith, Lenny Kravitz, AC/DC and more!
We pride ourselves on making sure that we deliver a show that the crowd can have fun with while enjoying quality music.

The Old North State is a southern country rock band based in Stanly County, NC. While growing up in North Carolina certainly had its influence on their music, it was the members eclectic musical styles that created something much larger than each individual. Hints of soulful blues, metal rock to sweet southern riffs…a live show where one song is a vocalized love letter while the very next packs enough punch to bring out the rowdiness in everyone. With utmost finesse and dynamics, Big Break delivers unique, specially crafted songs in a mixture of styles including Americana, Funk Rock, Soul, Reggae, Ska, Blues and more. They have been gracing the Carolinas with their on-stage jubilation since 2010, after the release of their first self titled studio album. Since then, they’ve generated another 4 albums, overcoming major setbacks including a 2014 accident that left their frontman and songwriter, David Myers, paralyzed below his chest. The road to recovery has helped shape their performance and makes it impossible to ignore the sincerity when confronted with their music in a live setting. Big Break is not just a band, they are a tidal event to experience.
