“Record Weekend” Celebration
We are so privileged to be a part of the Carolina Beach Mural Project and to have been graced with Mural #4, “Record Weekend”, by the incredible artist Sharon Dowell. Unfortunately, there is no way to preserve the mural wall during our construction phase. We wanted an event to make sure this piece of art got a proper goodbye – as it truly captures how live music has always been deeply integrated in both Carolina Beach and SeaWitch.
Wednesday, September 30th, we are having a Remembering Record Weekend celebration. Pop by and take a photo of the mural or purchase some Carolina Beach Mural Project merchandise- they even have a few limited edition numbered giclees from this mural available!
SeaWitch will be giving the CB Mural Project a donation, is honoring the mural in the new location with photograph art, and can hopefully work with Sharon Dowell creating a new mural in dedicated space we’ve set aside for art.
Live music with the Crystal Fussell Duo from 6-9pm which is very fitting, as they’ve been an important part of SeaWitch entertainment over the years.
